The most common question we get on a first call is how often a home actually needs professional cleaning. The honest answer is that it depends on four things: how many people live there, whether there are pets, how much the kitchen gets used, and how much you want to do yourself between visits.
Weekly cleaning fits busy households: two working adults, kids in school, a dog, and a kitchen that gets used every night. With weekly visits, nothing ever builds up, so each clean is quick and the house stays at the same standard all month. It's also the plan people choose when they've decided cleaning is simply not how they want to spend weekends.
Biweekly is the most popular plan in our service area, and for most two-to-four-person homes it's the sweet spot. Bathrooms and kitchens get professional attention every two weeks, and the light upkeep in between is manageable: wiping counters, running the vacuum once, keeping the sink clear.
Monthly works well for smaller households, couples who cook less, or homes where someone enjoys tidying but wants the heavy work done properly. Monthly visits are a little longer because there's more to reset, so they're priced accordingly, and we usually recommend a deep cleaning first so the monthly plan is maintaining rather than catching up.
If you're not sure, start biweekly. It's easy to move to weekly if the house isn't holding up, or to monthly if you find you're ahead of the schedule. New clients get 10% off their first recurring plan, whichever frequency they choose.
